Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)

This an Emergency Nurses Association's Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) 2-day course, held 8am-4pm October 4 & 5.  

• credential card valid for 4 years
• class fee is $250  
• book purchase is only required if you do not have access to one through your employer--costs $50
• you are expected to be familiar with the course material at the start of class, although there is no pre-test to turn in
• for RN's interested in the initial care of the pediatric trauma patient
• skills stations facilitate initial integration of psychomotor abilities in a setting that simulates pediatric patient situations 
• intent is to enhance the nurse's ability to rapidly and accurately assess the pediatric patient's responses to the illness or injury

Please note the following class rules:
1. Anyone arriving more than 15 minutes late will need to reschedule.

2. Non-OSUMC employees: Please bring payment to class if you have not already paid online or your employer has not made prior arrangements.

3. Food is not provided. Please bring your own snacks or plan to get something from the cafeteria or vending machines.

4. You are expected to be familiar with the material in the ENPC book, although there is no pre-test. OSUMC employees may check out the book from our library.

LOCATION:

The class is held in the Education Center of OSU Medical Center, 1st Floor of main hospital, 744 W. 9th St., Tulsa, OK 74127.

DIRECTIONS:

• 11th & Houston, downtown, just off the Broken Arrow Expressway westbound 
• Park in visitor parking on east side of hospital
• Enter MAIN HOSPITAL through NORTH DOORS where there is a large circle drive w/ a flagpole in the middle 
• Turn right (West) and go past the gift shop
• Continue West past north elevators
• Education Center is straight ahead
