Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

This an Emergency Nurses Association's Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).  

• 2 day class
• credential card valid for 4 years
• class fee is $250  
• you are expected to be familiar with the material, although there is no pre-test; book purchase is only required if you do not have access to one through your employer--costs $50
• for RN's interested in the initial care of the trauma patient
• participants receive continuing education credit hours
• designed to provide cognitive knowledge and psychomotor skills
• skills stations are presented in trauma nursing process; airway & ventilation; spinal protection, helmet removal & splinting.

Please note the following class rules:
1. Anyone arriving more than 15 minutes late will need to reschedule.

2. Non-OSU employees: Please bring payment to class if you have not already paid online or your employer has not made prior arrangements.

3. Food is not provided. Please bring your own snacks or plan to get something from the cafeteria or vending machines.

4. You are expected to be familiar with the material, although there is no pre-test; book purchase is only required if you do not have access to one through your employer

LOCATION:

The class is held in the Education Center of OSU Medical Center, 1st Floor of main hospital, 744 W. 9th St., Tulsa, OK 74127.

DIRECTIONS:

• 11th & Houston, downtown, just off the Broken Arrow Expressway westbound 
• Park in visitor parking on east side of hospital
• Enter MAIN HOSPITAL through NORTH DOORS where there is a large circle drive w/ a flagpole in the middle 
• Turn right (West) and go past the gift shop
• Continue West past north elevators
• Education Center is straight ahead
